dc.description.abstractThis paper proposes a solution to the problem of using Matlab for the purpose of the implementation of a photovoltaic-array model. A PV model is represented here based on the Shockley diode equation, and then Matlab has been used to simulate, analyze & optimize the efficiency of the model depending on various environmental factors like temperature, solar irradiance etc. The basic circuit equations of the photovoltaic module taking into account the influence of solar irradiance & cell temperaturehas been implemented through Matlab simulation. Finally the outputs of the simulation program has been put for understanding the dynamicity of PV power system.en_US
